Innovate Awarding has developed a new suite of employability qualifications in partnership with training providers in direct response to the economic impact of Covid-19.

These can be delivered as employability skills courses and they are particularly aimed at supporting the Kickstart and Restart schemes, Traineeships Agenda, and regrowth of apprenticeships as set out in the Government’s Plan for Jobs.

The portfolio consists of nine qualifications, designed to meet the needs of learners and employers in delivering relevant employability skills training to transition to work in a new sector. The qualifications within the suite are:

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE QUALIFICATIONS

Each qualification has been designed to support learners in gaining the skills they need to find employment in their chosen sector. The suite has been designed with flexibility in mind to allow providers to tailor their provision.

The Innovate Awarding “Transition to employment” qualifications combine employability skills and knowledge with sector specific content to prepare learners to enter the workforce.

On completion, learners will have a regulated qualification that evidences their commitment to their chosen profession.
