What does being an Innovative End-Point Assessor look like?

 

As one of our End-Point Assessors you will have the benefit of working on a hybrid basis, visiting learners both remotely and face-to-face. This enables you to work collaboratively with our support teams, our learners and our employer partners to manage your own time, helping you to achieve a great work/life balance.

 

Alongside a competitive benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a salary of £25,235 (a London and SE Allowance is applicable on top of salary for qualifying areas), you will also have access to full training and support to enable you to deliver an exceptional experience within your role.

Permanent Vacancies

Hospitality End-Point Assessor

  • Current, hands-on, professional experience at management level in Hospitality Front and Back of House (Food & Beverage and Kitchen experience is essential)
  • Qualification to at least Level 2
  • Assessor qualification is desirable
  • Experience as a qualified assessor and be able to conduct assessment processes including observations, professional discussions and reviewing learners’ showcase of evidence.

Retail End-Point Assessor

  • Current, hands-on, professional experience, expertise and knowledge, to a minimum of Level 4 Retail Manager
  • You will also need to be an experienced, qualified Assessor
  • Assessor qualification desirable
  • Experience as a qualified assessor and be able to conduct assessment processes including observations, professional discussions and reviewing learners’ showcase of evidence.

  • Current, hands-on, professional experience in Customer Services, preferably as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager
  • Qualification to at least Level 2
  • Assessor qualification

CASUAL VACANCIES

TRADE SUPPLY END POINT ASSESSOR

  • Current, hands-on, professional experience in Retail and Trade Supply in automotive, electrical plumbing, joinery and general business supplies, and knowledge to match the standard you are assessing.

BUYING AND MERCHANDISING END POINT ASSESSOR

  • Current hands-on professional experience as a Senior Buyer or Merchandiser with significant, relevant occupational expertise and knowledge
  • Assessor qualification
  • Experience as a qualified assessor and be able to conduct assessment processes including observations, professional discussions and reviewing learners’ showcase of evidence.

For all our roles you will need to have good IT (MS Office), time management and communication skills, we’ll give you full training on our systems and support your Continuous Professional Development.

 

A full driving license and access to a car is also essential.

Since using their end-point assessment service from the start of 2020, our experience of working with Innovate Awarding has been excellent. The booking process is straight forward, easy to use and, above all else, communication is of a high standard. They responded quickly when we needed their guidance and support whether that was by email or telephone.

 

Innovate involve the learner in communications after gateway and the assessors have been extremely supportive to both tutors and apprentices throughout the EPA process. We had one situation where an apprentice was nervous about his assessments and the assessor rang him before the EPA date to talk to him and put him at ease. I felt this was a nice touch that helped the apprentice to feel more comfortable in the run up to his assessments and ultimately, he achieved a distinction. Innovate aim to make the whole End Point Assessment process a positive one for the learner and feedback has been good around the EPA Assessors putting them at ease prior to their assessments. The team at Innovate are very helpful, professional and extremely responsive to any queries we have. Using EPA Pro makes the process of tracking and managing learners through the process an easy one for us as a Training Provider as you can see exactly where the learner is at any point in the process and the reporting features are also very useful when it comes to monitoring results.
