Assessment requirements

This qualification is internally assessed and internally quality assured by Centre staff and externally quality assured by Innovate Awarding External Quality Advisors (EQAs). Learners must compile a portfolio of evidence demonstrating how they meet the learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Aims and objectives of the qualification

The objective of this qualification is for learners to gain the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe and effective care.

This qualification is an essential requirement of the Adult Care Worker level 2 apprenticeship, and Innovate can help training providers to enrich their level 2 care apprenticeship even further with Care Standard+ - additional qualifications, additional modules, all for just £25 more per learner than the care certificate.
