Gateway Requirements
Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers (Road Haulage)
Level 3 Junior Transport Operator (Ministry of Defence)
Multiple Choice Test
The apprentice will be presented with 25 multiple choice questions, made up of 10 core questions and 15 from the transport or warehouse specialism. They will have a total time of 60 minutes to complete the test.
Project Report with Presentation and Questioning
After coming through Gateway, the apprentice will work on their 4,000 word project report. They will have 15 minutes to deliver a presentation based on their project, which will be followed by a minimum of five questions from questions from the Innovate Awarding Assessor.
Interview
The interview will take place with an Innovate Awarding Assessor and will last for 45 minutes. The apprentice will be asked a minimum of 10 questions to draw out knowledge around their professional practice.
The assessments will be graded as Distinction/Pass/Fail. The last step along the apprentice’s journey will be the receipt of their certificate.
