This occupation is found in sport for social change charities, local authorities, sports clubs, leisure centres, after school clubs, youth work organisations, housing associations and outdoor education centres.

Gateway Requirements
At Gateway the apprentice must provide their portfolio of evidence for the Professional Discussion which must be approved before the EPA period begins.
Observation with Questions
The apprentice must submit their Session Plan to the Innovate Awarding Assessor seven days in advance of the observation. The observation with questions must take one hour. The observation element is 45 minutes and the time allocated for questioning is 15 minutes, during which the Innovate Awarding Assessor will ask at least three questions.
Professional Discussion underpinned by Portfolio
The professional discussion will take place with an Innovate Awarding Assessor and will last 45 minutes. The Innovate Awarding Assessor will ask at least eight questions.
