Gateway Requirements
To progress through Gateway the apprentice must have Level 2 English and Mathematics and a Portfolio of Evidence.
Observation with questions and answers
2 hours and 20 minutes (+10%). Face-to-face/remote; Employer’s premises; A suitable venue. Apprentice, End-point Assessor, Individual receiving the coaching.
Interview supported by portfolio of evidence
60 minutes(+10%). Face-to-face/ remote; Employer’s premises; Appropriate environment. Apprentice, End-point Assessor.
Knowledge Test
90 minutes. Controlled environment. Apprentice, Invigilator.
