The Assessor Coach apprenticeship is for experienced and competent sector employees currently undergoing training and assessment to become an Assessor. Future requirements in the sector, as identified by employers, requires Assessors to be skilled in teaching and coaching.

Assessor Coach Observations with Q&A
Two Assessor Coach sessions with a minimum of two different learners, totalling 2 hours. Face to face. Apprentice’s workplace. Date, venue and time arranged by EPA with apprentice and employer. Apprentice, Endpoint Assessor (sector expert if required).
Professional Discussion (informed by Showcase Portfolio)
1 hour. Face to face (on same day as observations). Apprentice’s workplace, quiet room free from interruption. Can be scheduled before, in between, after observations. Apprentice, Endpoint Assessor (sector expert if required).
