People 1st propose date for withdrawal of apprenticeship frameworks in the Hospitality, Catering and Retail sectors

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) recently consulted on the withdrawal of apprenticeship frameworks in April 2018. People 1st have responded to the consultation proposing that where a framework is subject to review and there is an approved apprenticeship standard in place, that certain pathways should be withdrawn earlier.

Following a three-week consultation, People 1st are now advising the Education and Skills Funding Agency that they propose to withdraw the pathways listed in this document from 31st October 2017.

Innovate Awarding is approved to deliver end-point assessment services for the following new standards in the Hospitality and Retail sectors:

Hospitality

  • Commis Chef
  • Hospitality Team Member 
  • Hospitality Supervisor 
  • Senior Chef Production Cooking


Retail 

  • Retailer 
  • Retail Team Leader 
  • Retail Manager
